Be mindful when choosing topics and use those that have a natural connection to your brand. For example, National Tequila Day would work well for a bar or restaurant, but not so much for products targeted at health, wellness, or children.
As you can see, creating effective seasonal content requires some planning. Review opportunities far in advance to create quality content in time for the season.

Social media marketing requires you to constantly develop interesting ways to engage your followers. When you make seasonal content part of your marketing strategy and create content on a timely basis, that task becomes much easier.
All the seasonal content you add to your site (blog posts, infographics) makes great material for social media channels. Keep in mind this content is cyclical, so you can reshare it for years to come. Just remember to update it, if necessary!
