Storytelling can help your brand gain trust and offer credibility to potential customers. Nowadays, being personable while remaining professional is what sets you apart from the rest! Your followers and clients are interested in hearing your story, getting to know your team and your company culture. Here are some of our tips to perfect your storytelling and open up to your followers.
Share Your Actual Story
Your business story doesn’t have to be super elaborate or detailed. A genuine description of where you came from and how you got started is more likely to connect with your audience and they will appreciate the honesty. Remember to include the highs and lows of your business journey by discussing the obstacles you have faced along the way. By reading or listening to your struggles, this will show your audience how passionate you are about your brand and overall business. Being vulnerable in your business story is what allows your clients to relate to you!
Share Client Stories
Sharing your client stories is another great way for your audience to see your work style and how you handle situations. These client stories can be success stories or failures that you learned from. Just be sure to showcase the positive outcome in the end. Either way, it’s important to implement client stories and reviews on your website or social media! If your clients are up for it, you can even record a video of them to post on your social media. Your customers like to engage, so come up with ways to get them involved!
Share Team/Staff Stories
You can’t run a successful business without the help of a team! Sharing stories about each member of your team bring your clients closer to your brand. You can implement this as a weekly “Meet the Team Monday” segment on your social media and stories. You can have them explain how they are involved in your company, their favorite part about their role, and how long they’ve been on board! See an example in our Instagram story highlights to your right!
Implementing storytelling into your business strategy can help you and your team solidify a genuine connection with your potential clients. If you’re looking for more specific help to improve your storytelling, give us a call (954) 275-3331
