Can you believe we’re on the sixth post of our Guide to Facebook Advertising series? Today, we’re tackling Facebook ad budgeting, analysis, and strategies. Knowing how to budget your Facebook ad campaign, interpret the data, and create successful approaches helps you get the most mileage out of your social media marketing strategy.
Facebook Ad Budgeting, Analysis, & Successful Strategies
Facebook ad budgeting can be handled one of two ways. How you go about it may depend on your overall social media marketing strategy and goals.
Campaign Budgets
This entails setting one overarching budget that continuously distributes in real time to your Facebook ad sets. This type of budgeting is automatic, saving you from having to manually manage your budgets. This option provides the most results for the lowest cost. Choose this method if you’re flexible with how your budget is spent across your ad sets.
Ad Set Budgets
If you want to have more control over the delivery of your ad sets, you can set individual budgets for each one. This is the way to go if you have a variety of optimization goals and bid strategies.
Whichever budget type you choose, you can also set whether your budget is per day or over the lifetime of the ad set.
Ad Schedule
For both dаіlу and lіfеtіmе аdѕ, уоu can tеll Facebook when you’d lіkе thе ad tо run. Bу dеfаult, if you are running a dаіlу ad budget, Fасеbооk ѕuggеѕtѕ to run the аd continuously each day. Othеrwіѕе, you can сhооѕе to ѕtаrt аnd еnd the аd on a ѕресіfіс dау at a specific time (Fасеbооk crunches the numbers for уоu аnd tеllѕ уоu the total уоu will spend on the ad).
